The Football and Social Club is a licensed social Club associated with the Village Hall.  Membership is £1.50 per year. 

The club reopened in August 2010 after a complete refit of the bar area and now provides an attractive venue for club functions and as a home for the Football Club.

The Club is ususally open on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and
Sunday evenings and in association with some activities taking place in the Village Hall.

Football Club
Records show that 'scratch' football teams played at English Bicknor and Hillersland in the 1920s and 1930s and in 1953 a football team and committee was set up, to be based at the Village Hall Playing Fields.

 Currently there are two club teams:-

The First Team who play in the North Gloucesr Premier Division
Manager - Darren Gwilliam and
The Reserves who play in the North Gloucester 3rd Division
Manager - Aron Baldwin.
Games are played on Saturdays (and Wednesdays early and late season) and training is on Wednesdays.
 
New Junior Pitch
The Club received a grant from the Football Foundation in 2009 to create a junior football pitch which will be ready for the 2010-2011 season. Males over the age of 16 are eligible to play in the League but if anyone is interested either for themselves or their children please contact David Hemsley the secretary 01594 860046.
